The Complete Package allows you to hit all the climbing hot spots in the West! You will travel to 4 different climbing destinations; each location has a different type of rock, different style of climbing, and different type of wilderness with a unique beauty. This tour covers a lot of ground and you’re given ample time to soak in the unique features of each destination with a total of 11 eligible climbing days!

The Complete Package combines Best of BC and Rockies Rock! We’ll take you to our favorite crags so you can experience the best of what Canada has to offer. You’ll be accompanied by up to 7 other international climbers and 2 friendly and knowledgeable staff members to make sure you get the most out of this experience. This trip allows you to maximize your climbing experience in Canada. The land is incredibly vast and as a result there is a huge variety of landscapes, natural beauty and outstanding climbing. The trip starts in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. In Canmore you’ll experience quality sport climbing on limestone while surrounded by massive peaks. Above Lake Louise and beneath the beautiful Victoria Glacier, you’ll find yourself moving up perfect quartzite. Next we head to the desert in Penticton to climb at Skaha Bluffs, a climbers playground with almost 1000 routes! There’s no better place to end the trip than in the climbers paradise of Squamish; here we’ll climb some quality granite in an incredible coastal setting.
We got you covered on this trip. All local transportation is provided as we’ll traveling in comfortable company vehicles. The accommodation will be a mix of hostel stays and campgrounds. While camping, you’ll be in spacious group tents and sleeping on comfortable, twin size inflatable mattresses. Don’t worry about cooking, our staff will be preparing hearty and delicious meals for breakfast and dinner so you’ll have plenty of energy for big climbing days. At night you get to kick back around the fire and get to know your climbing partners from all over the world.
Over two weeks you’ll experience world class climbing and see some of the most beautiful landscapes that Canada has to offer. It’s an action packed trip with 11 eligible climbing days but there’s no pressure to climb. Guests are welcome to take a rest day whenever they like and we’ll find you something fun to do.

Pre-Trip – Day 1
All guests will convene at one of Canmore’s hostels for a meet and greet. Hostel accommodation.
Canmore – Day 2, 3, 4
In Canmore we’ll visit some of the many local crags and experience the majesty of the Rockies. Camping will take place in Banff National Park.
Lake Louise – Day 5, 6, 7
Place gear or clip bolts on quality quartzite at one of the world’s most iconic lakes. Valley camping surrounded by massive peaks.
Rest day – drive to Penticton. Relax on the beaches of Skaha Lake. Camping in the rolling hills of the dessert.
Skaha Bluffs – Day 9,10,11
Explore the dozens of walls at Skaha Bluffs. Climb classic after classic on outstanding gneiss. Camping in the rolling hill of the desert.
Squamish – Day 12, 13, 14
Explore Squamish and all it has to offer. You decide whether you clip bolts, place gear or boulder. Or maybe you want to venture up one of the excellent multipitches on The Chief.
We’ll be making the long return trip to Canmore. Guests are welcome to join us or make alternate travel arrangement from Vancouver.
We provide the majority of required gear to save you the burden of travelling with a load of luggage.
We will provide:
- Traditional gear – camalots, nuts
- Anchor kits
- Crash pads
- Guide Books
- Sleeping Bags
- Inflatable mattresses
- Camp chairs
- All dining utensils
You will be required to bring:
- Climbing Harness
- Preferred belay device
- Shoes: multiple climbing shoes if you like to mix it up, tough hiking shoes, comfortable footwear for at the camp or down days
With the diversity in environments you’ll be required to bring a wide range of clothing for all weather conditions. Even on the warmest of days it can still get chilly in mountains, especially at night time. For you to bring:
- Touque (beanie, warm hat)
- Brimmed hat to protect from the sun
- Sunscreen – nobody wants a sunburn
- Gloves for belaying and around camp
- Multiple leg layers – important to manage body temperature
- Multiple upper layer – important to manage body temperature
- Rain gear – waterproof jacket, waterproof pants
- Headlamp – essential for navigating around camp
In a perfect world we wouldn’t have to worry about these details, but we all know that misfortunes can occur. We highly recommend that our guests are well protected by acquiring coverage for both Medical and Cancellation/Trip Interruption Insurance.
Emergency Medical Expenses Insurance: It is advised that all our guests purchase medical travellers insurance in case of an emergency. There is no fee for rescue within the national and provincial parks however services such as air and ground transportation and additional medical services can be expensive.
Cancellation/Trip Interruption Insurance: Unforeseen events involving health, family members, business, travel complications or other circumstances can drastically alter your plans. The Fine Print
All prices are in Canadian dollars and do not include the 5% Federal Goods and Services Tax (GST). All listed prices are for 2017 only.
Methods and Schedule of Payment
We accept all major credit cards. If there are any complications we can discuss alternate methods of payment.
Schedule of Payment
- All trips require a deposit of 40% at the time of booking.
- Full payment is due 6 weeks before trip departure. Failure to pay balance by this date may result in forfeiting your spot on the tour without refund of initial deposit.
- Full payment must be made for bookings within 6 weeks of the departure date.
- Group bookings will be subject to different conditions and scheduling.
Cancellation and Refund Policies
If for some reason Hedon Rock Tours should need to cancel a tour your payment will be refunded in full. If you cannot participate in a tour that you have booked and do not have cancellation insurance in place, the following terms will apply:
- A full refund will made within 24 hours of booking, provided that the booking was made more than 2 weeks in advance.
- Cancellations within 8 weeks of tour departure will forfeit the deposit.
- Cancellations within 6 weeks will forfeit the full amount.
- We will accept substitute participants in the event that you cannot make the tour.
- All cancelations must be received by Hedon Rock Tours in writing at email@example.com
It may happen that we run into some unruly weather. If the rain is persistent we will have to alter our original itinerary. We cannot guarantee that we will hit all the scheduled destinations but with enough micro climates on the tour we should be able to find dry rock.
